Skeen is a social networking app that allows users to create social events on the fly. Simply enter the location for an event, the time, date and contacts you wish to invite. Your friends and family will receive instant invite notifications, even if they don't have the app installed!
Skeen features a user-friendly interface and includes:
-- Private live group chat – send texts to everyone invited to the event, it's like an private chat room for each event that's easier than sending normal texts.
– Instant Google map-based locations of event and participants.
-- GPS locations to event with updates when the event location is moved.
What makes Skeen different from other social networking apps?
-- creation of groups of people, which allows easy adding to events and group chatting.
-- creation and storage of locations. You can use your current location, search Google's maps database for places, or enter in a known address.
-- Skeen uses real-time push notifications to tell users about new event invites, changes in established events, and event reminders. Reminders are sent to participants 24 hours, 12 hours, 1 hour, and 15 minutes before each event.
-- quick creation and editing of events.
-- a detailed events tab view with easy access to information about each event.
-- text notifications with a link to the market are sent to anybody who is invited to a group or event, but don't yet have Skeen installed.
