Maze 3D

Search for the exit and escape the maze / labyrinth in 3d perspective.

1. Description

You will be placed at a random place in a random generated maze. From that point you have to find out of the maze.

The maze is generated by random. That means you will never play a certain maze twice.

Your view is in first-person 3d perspective.

When using greater maze sizes it may help to use color markers in order to avoid moving in a circle. See section 3.

2. Navigation

It is possible to move one step forward by touching in the middle of the screen.

By touching the left or right most position of the screen, you can turn 90 degrees left or right. Note that you will not move, just turn.

By default there are navigation symbols displayed for orientation. These symbols can be hidden at the settings page.

3. Use of color markers

You have 3 markers of different colors available (green, blue, red). Try to place a marker at a position which can be seen from different, distant positions.

In order to use a marker step in front of the wall and hold the middle of the wall pressed. Then a context menu will open where you can place a marker. After that the wall has a painted area in the middle. This shall remind you e.g. that this area is already checked by you.

Please note that once a marker is placed, it can not be removed/reused again. Only at the next game.

4. Show maze map

If you are not finding the way out (even with markers) you can just have a look at the current maze map. You reach it via options menu.

The map shows your starting point (white triangle), your current point (blue triangle), the exit point as well as all visited positions in the map by blue dots. Also your color markers are shown if used.

5.Settings

The settings page is available in the options menu. It allows following changes:

Selection of a different maze size. The maze is always quadratic. A change during a running game does not have immediate effect. Only at the next game.

Hiding the navigation symbols. If you want a clear view and you know where to touch you can just hide these symbols. The sensitive area is even greater than the size of the symbols.

Use of vibration. The game just uses short impulse of vibration to give the feedback that no further move forward is possible because of a wall. You can disable it.
