1. Record Dashboard Images
Dashboard Cam allows the users to record or take photo snaps in full screen camera images along with map compass and gps speed information.
There are two main record modes; continuous record mode (burst mode) and single photo snap mode.
Saved image size is dependent on the user device's screen size. Application supports smaller screen size devices.
After recording or photo snaps, user can take play back recorded images by using included Player, File Explorer, and Image Viewer.
All the recored images are saved on the device storage (sd card).
Recorde: /sdcard/dashboardcam/record
Photos: /sdcard/dashboardcam/yyyy-mm-dd (dated format folder)

2. Play Back Records
Application includes special viewers for the specific purposes; Dashboard Player, File Explorer, and Image Viewer.
With player, user could view and play back recored images in animated format. It has playback speed controller. To view current frame images, click the image to open Image Viewer.
For playing back the older recorded archives (from the older version of application), simply copy folders (including files) to the new application RECORD folder. Then player will catch the folder and its contents for the play back.
Dashboard Cam includes simple File Explorer and Image/Text Viewer, so that user does not need to switch the application to view the recorded images while using it.
Image viewer supports image and text file types.

3. Rotating Map Compass
If user device includes compass sensor, the map displayed on the dashboard will act as compass map. And, the digital compass values will be displayed on the next the the speed meter.
When device GPS is on, the current user location will be marked on the center of the map. If location mark is touched, location address will be retrieved and displayed on the screen.

4. Digital Speed Meter
The digital speed meter will be activated if user's device includes GPS sensor and GPS function is enabled when the application is running.
When A-GPS (Assisted GPS, using cellular tower) location information is used, speed information would not be measured correctly and might not working as designed.
To get the accurate speed information, recommend to use real GPS sensors while application is running.
Speed Meter Modes: MPH, KPH, KNOTS, FPS
To change speed mode, touch or click the up-arrow button under the speed mode info.

5. File Explorer
With Dashboard Cam File Explorer, user could list and view device's folders and files easily. It includes three sub menus; View, Rename and Delete. Long Click on the item from the file list will show the file sub menu.
Viewable file types are images and text files.

6. Image/Text Viewer
Image and text file viewer will show the file location and file size at the bottom of the screen.
Viewer and File Explorer can handle the device orientation changes, and also aware multi-touch zoom in/out function. As it is based on the web browser component, user could see and navigate web pages.
