This is an addictive maze-based action game ... it will give your brain and index finger a workout!
TABLET TESTED ... Check it out on the Xoom! Note: this app should be run on a tablet or one of the newer phones for best results. A major revision is underway which should address these issues for older phones.
Here's the background:
You are an artificial intelligence charged with controlling a nanobot inside a human brain. The brain belongs to a person who has just been resuscitated after being cryonically stored for almost 50 years. You have been chosen because, ironically, the person being restored to life is the same person on whom you (the AI) were based! Their mannerisms, personality, recollections, feelings, beliefs, attitudes and values were recorded and stored with the CyBeRev project and later coupled with mindware to create your digital persona.
Your nanobot will be injected into a single neuron at the most critical junction of the brain – in the right parietal lobe – where the most important components defining self are stored. Your task is to restore the mind by following the faint traces of memory latent in the brain cells and guided by your digital data stores - going from neuron to neuron, puzzle to puzzle and stage to stage. Along the way, be careful to clean out any brain plaques that may have formed during the patient's earlier life and watch out for macrophages! Unless you use your electrified shell during such encounters, your nanobot may be destroyed and you will have to start the process over. Keep in mind, however, that the nanobot has a limited energy supply, so do not overtax it! Stay sharp as you navigate the brain maze that is a neural network and we may award you bonuses for quick work. When you have reconnected all of the key neurons in the local network, the stage will be complete and you can move on to the next challenge.
Good luck!
The basic idea of the game is to navigate the mind maze of neurons between the start and end of each level by dragging your finger from neuron to neuron along the axons. An axon is a long arm extending from a brain neuron and ending in a network of sub branches called a dendrite. You earn points for every neuron you connect. For the purpose of this game, each neuron in the mind maze may have as many as three different axons extending from it. Axons are one-way paths, you cannot easily travel back up an axon, so try to avoid dead ends - they will cost you points. At the same time, you have to solve the puzzle of each brain maze quickly to qualify for bonuses.
As you progress, each puzzle becomes more challenging and the number of levels in each maze increases. The increasing complexity makes finding the right path more difficult to see. Then things start to get interesting. Motor neurons start switching the paths to the solution, plaques turn up to block your progress and then macrophages appear to hunt you down. Eventually, the game will get so complex that your score actually starts to go down. When you get stuck, just start a new game.
Don't forget to go to settings first and put in your name so you can proudly point to it when you get on the leader board!

Keep your mind and index finger in top shape, play this brain puzzle game regularly. Games like this can be used to exercise a variety of mental skills, including:
short-term memory, focus, concentration, planning, problem solving, etc. The brain maze may also help you improve your thinking speed and spatial orientation skills as you puzzle out and pass each level.
