A handy log-book for your phone ...
1. Decide what to Log. Log Life is flexible enough to handle Weight, Exercise, Mood, Steps, Meals, Transportation, Baby Habits, or even simple diary entries. You can include quantities, ratings, or text notes in your entries. Afterwards, you're ready to start collecting information!
2. Simply press the buttons to create a timestamped log entry! (see example screenshots) The buttons are set up in advance, so you don't need to waste time typing into your phone, and the data is collected in a consistent manner. This is the fastest way to collect data on a smartphone. Create a well-formatted log entry in literally two seconds.
4. Review your log entries in a well-formatted list, organized by category. Export data to CSV on your computer to create reports from your data or make charts in excel.
5. Fine-tune your data collection methods. You can easily edit the buttons you've created to create more categories (unlimited), create subcategories (limit 2), or add attributes you think would be helpful (i.e. rate each 'Restaurant' entry). Take advantage of your phone's features and log your GPS location with each entry.

*Create an Exercise category, with subcategories like Steps Taken (w/ quantity), Miles Run (w/ quantity), Calories Burned (w/ quantity).
*Categorize your professional activities, ditch the bulky log book and create a comprehensive log of your accomplished tasks, modifying as you go.
*Create a category called 'Random Sample', with subcategories divided into mutually exclusive definitions of your time (i.e. Work vs. Play vs. Sleep) Download the app 'Random Alert Generator' (free), and create a log entry each time the alert annunciates. Include ratings with your categories to keep a record of your mood.
*Log sporting events in real time (speed logging), set up the app to restart after each log and reach logging rates upwards of 20 entries per minute.
